Sound quality is hugely important to me. I use some of the best equipment available, and I believe the better the tools the better the job I can do. My gear is industry-standard and always maintained in excellent condition. All equipment is transported in protective bags and flight cases to ensure continued reliability.
First impressions also count a great deal at any function. There's no point spending time and money ensuring the venue and décor look perfect, to find the DJ you've hired isn't suitably dressed, his gear looks worn and abused, and his cables are all over the show. Your guests are sure to notice.
I use a combination of JBL MRX, SRX & Eon series speakers and FBT Promaxx, as well as Pioneer CD players and mixers, Soundcraft mixers, Digital amplification and processing, Shure cordless UHF and corded microphones. A stand for cordless microphones is provided where necessary. Cabling is professional grade and always neatly run and taped down.
I carry spare essential equipment with me to each gig so that in the unusual event that something is not working correctly, it can be replaced at a moment’s notice with very little downtime. The show must go on!
For most functions, I use various LED lighting effects for dance floor areas. These are unobtrusive in appearance, yet effective in creating a lively party atmosphere. For a retro feel, I can supply a mirror ball and pinspot lamp on request.
For larger functions or corporate events where clients wish to create an impression with guests using state-of-the-art lighting, I can supply scanners and moving heads. These lights allow almost limitless possibility as far as lighting effects go, and also have facilities for company logos and branding to be displayed. Smoke and haze machines are almost always used in conjunction to enhance the visual effect of the lighting.
I can supply par can lighting to wash walls, stages and backdrops with colour. Par cans on floor stands are ideal for bedouin / stretch marquees.
I can supply video / data projectors and screens for presentation and conference purposes.
I am able to supply a dedicated PA system and music for Wedding Ceremonies. A cordless handheld microphone with stand, or an ear-set microphone is supplied for the minister.
I can provide audio inputs for vocalists and musicians to connect to my PA system.
I am able to supply a portable lectern if required, and should there be no power source available, I am able to supply a generator and UPS to power the Ceremony PA system at an additional cost. This is ideal if you are planning a Beach Ceremony or an “Out of Africa” Wedding Ceremony in a game reserve.
